Whitesnake in my opinion is the blandest and stalest thing in YBA. It doesn’t reflect how Whitesnake works in the anime where it acts cunning rather than taking half of your health in a single combo. In fact Whitesnake is shown to be very weak when it gets directly confronted.
In this rework, I will make Whitesnake’s playstyle a bit “dirtier,” manipulating others, and utilizing visual tricks and the environment to outsmart the opponent at the cost of weakening its combo and direct fighting strength.
Barrage and the finisher remains the same
1: Spirit disc: Will mainly function the same way. However when you steal an opponent’s disc, you will collect the disc from your opponent. When you collect it, you will keep it.
2: Order:
You will throw a disc after yelling “I ORDER YOU” in Japanese. Hitting the move will result in the opponent losing their ability to m1. When you have a collected spirit disc, you can hold it to throw both of the discs at once. If you hit a NPC in any of these ways, it will attack your opponent for you. If you hold it and hit a NPC, and that NPC doesn’t have a stand, it will gain one and attack your opponent. If you hit a standless player with this move, they will receive that stand as their ability while receiving the same effect from the order disc. It will be equivalent to stabbing yourself with the arrow. Non shiny stands have a chance of becoming shiny and If the disc you stole was shiny, it will not affect your chances. Most often you will receive a non shiny version of that stand. If this move kills an opponent, their corpse will sing the song “hallelujah”
Disguise: Whitesnake shift its shape to disguise as one of the players. If you have a gang, it will shift into a gang member inside of the server. The user will temporarily go invisible and will be locked into pilot mode for the duration. When disguised, Whitesnake will change its pose and walking animation and even mimic the stand of the players it is posing as. It will also change its avatar model.
Block+Disguise:
Whitesnake will disguise as its user to misdirect its opponent.
Illusion creation: Whitesnake leaves a decoy of its user and itself and goes invisible. If the decoy gets attacked, the opponent will get stunned.
Melt your heart: Acidic spew’s block bypassing version. This is your only combo extender.
Pilot mode: Whitesnake will have significantly more range than the other pilot stands. You can swap between the two by pressing Z. However, your stand won’t immediately return when you press the button. Instead it will come back to you by walking. Movement speed is determined by the distance between you and your stand. If your stand is apart from you, any stand moves you do(except order) will be performed by Whitesnake.
Pilot + J: Tandem: When you enter tandem mode, your stand will dash towards the closest player. Any input you do will be performed by Whitesnake and you at the same time. M1s will be quicker and can be performed by both the player and the stand at the same time. Once tandem ends, whitesnake will knock the opponent down to the ground to prevent you from pulling an infinite. Your damage both by the stand and avatar will decrease in tandem. Will have a lengthy cooldown.
